The Development of GIS Separate Elements FOR the Megacity RoadS and Transport Complex (case study Moscow)

The group of young scientists, postgraduates, and students leading by Professor Kira Shingareva studies the Problems of the Megacity Road and Transport Complex (case study Moscow) on the "Economic and Business" chair of The Moscow State University for Geodesy and Cartography since 2000 year. The Megacity Road and Transport Complex (MRTC) GIS DB structure development is carried out at this time.

The MRTC GIS DB structure development of separate elements includes the thematic layers set on the basis of the RTC investigations results, the thematic layers of the chosen directions fragments creation, the perfection and updating of DB perspective forms definition.

The GIS structure separate elements is developed in several directions, including:

1. the conditional-constant transport jams in view of the seasonal prevalence factor site information layer;

2. the conditional-constant transport jams in view of the factor of seasonal prevalence average existence time information layer;

3. the conditional-constant transport jams in view of the factor of seasonal change average length information layer.

The separate elements are developed on the basis of Moscow RTC researches with 2000 for 2005.
